US, Violent Shooting In Colorada Springs New Life Church

Another violent shooting in Colorado Springs New Life Church came only days after Omaha Mall rampage. A 24-year-old gunman, Matthew J. Murray opened fire in the parking lot of the Church has killed 5 people including himself and 5 wounded. Investigators said Murray had been thrown out of the Youth With A Mission training center several years ago. The motive of the violence is undefined yet. However, police in Arvada believed the shooting which occurred 12 hours from 65 miles apart were probably linked. Read more


Jeanne Assam, a 42-year-old heroic church guard who suggested for the enforced security in church on Sunday due to the previous attack in Arvada has stopped the bloodshed by confronted the gunman. New Life's pastor credits Assam with saving up to 100 lives.
