2007 China's Spectacular Ice Festival

Witness the photos of 2007 China's Spectacular Ice Festival. It has been an amazing festival held annualy since 1985 in Harbin, China. It is China’s original and greatest ice artwork festival, and one of the largest of its kind in the world.

Harbin, one of China's coldest cities, hosts a spectacular annual festival that for many is far more tempting than a warm beach holiday.

Organisers hope it will become an event on a global scale, and apparently it is having success.

On average, the festival records about 800,000 visitors every year, 90 per cent of them Chinese, making it hard to find a hotel room during the peak season in January.
