Sudden Death Tradegy: Brittany Murphy Dies At 32

Actress Brittany Murphy has died in Los Angeles at the age of 32. No cause of death has been announced and an autopsy has been carried out but the cause of death will not be known until the results of toxicology and tissue tests come out in four to six weeks. It is still a big question mark remains in my mind! Over the weekend during outings to Sentosa (Singapore), a humongous group of foreign labors were seen at all corners of Sentosa beach and public areas. Imagine that they are looking at you wearing bikini or while you were sun-tanning on the beach. Imagine while using the washroom, they are cutting queue and splashing water to you after washing their hands. At usual time or even travel peak season, it was never been in a picture for too many of them all around the Sentosa Island. Perhaps, the nearby Casino (Marina Bay Sands) are releasing their labors for one day off. Really, it is an unusual scene in Sentosa.

Singapore, a beautiful and iconic country in the island. This place fills with too many food and foreigners. People here look out for food every now and then and yet some people curiously to know what kind of food belongs to local Singapore.

A recent statement from Malaysia's Board of Tourism, which mentioned that chicken rice, laksa, bah kut teh and others all belong to Malaysia.

Iron Lung Woman Dies At 71

A woman who was trying to write a book about her life has died at her home in North Carolina after spending 61 years with her iron lung. She has yet to be graduated from college. This 71-year-old woman, Martha Mason was an associate communications professor at Wake Forest University. Mason contracted polio in 1948, when she was 11. The disease, which killed her older brother, left her paralyzed from the neck down. But she refused to be defined by her physical state.

A memorial service for Martha Mason will be held at Lattimore Baptist Church, 303 Peachtree Road. Visitation will begin at 2 in the church's fellowship hall.

First Death In Costa Rica Of A Man Suffered From H1N1 (Swine Flu) Is Finally Reported

While infectious record of H1N1 virus are under control, Health Minister from Costa Rica announces the first death of a 53-year-old man who died on Saturday due to disease which formerly called as swine flu. This is the fourth country that reports a death from the virus. To date, there are more than 4200 people around the world have connected and infected by the same strain of virus which contains combination strain of human, bird and swine. It has killed 48 people in Mexio, 2 in U.S and 1 in Canada.

From the view of point of mine, the man's death is consider as expected as older people with diabetes and asthma would hardly survive from this virus. However, an autopsy will eventually determine if his death was triggered by flu or complications of his other illnesses.

Warning Of Climate Change; Ice Shelf Is Breaking Away To Open Ocean

What is the next plan/agenda after earth hour 2009 in order to save the earth? Recent report shows that one Antartic ice shelf has quickly vanished and another is disappearing while other glaciers are melting even faster than expected. Climate change is to blame, according to the report from the U.S. Geological Survey and the British Antarctic Survey, available at pubs.usgs.gov/imap/2600/B.

The Wilkins ice shelf is breaking away to open ocean due to melting of ice bridge that serves as important barrier to hold remnant shelf structure in place. The consequence might be providing further change in region especially raising sea level and swamp low-lying areas.

Urgent! Seeking for help. Someone nickname as "Ck Teh" lost his beloved IPod at Pasir Ris on 4th April 09 around 11am - 12noon. The last time that this item has been seen was at the bus station after he alighted at next bus stop after downtown east by SBS bus No. 3. The exact location should be at pasir ris block 212A or else. Anyway, he still took a cab immediately to another destination without realizing that he might have left his IPod at bus stop or in the cab (blue color comfort cab).

The Ipod is his first gift bought by himself as a reward for his long effort in working at Singapore city for the first time. The crucial thing is that informations inside the IPod meant a lot for him. He has started to track the location of the IPod after it has been lost in hoping to relocate it since he has installed the tracking device in it. Madonna Disappoints Malawi Villagers Due To Tight Security At Scene

According to source, thundreds of villagers in Malawi have been disappointed by Material singer, Madonna and David, her adopted Malawi son during their visit to an orphanage where David Banda once stayed before adoption. Among of the villages were mostly barefoot, climed trees and the brick wall fence of orphanage with hope to see the singer and her adopted son. There were uniformed policemen at scene to chase journalists as well. Some of them explained thar they just wanted to thank Madonna for keeping David safe.

BEIJING news: Chinese government has launched a nationwide campaign to crack down on pornographic and obscene contents on the Internet. Recent news reported that China online watchdog has shut down a total of 162 porn websites as these websites were found providing pornographic content in text, picture, video or audio contents. The blocked websites include www.baigujing.com, www.bt990.com and other sites mainly based in Beijing, Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Guangdong Provinces. More over, the State Administration of Radio, Film and Television (SARFT) also urged all websites not to post TV series online which had not been censored by administration.

The Sale Of World's Largest Egg In Chelsea

The selling price for this world's largest egg laid by great flightless elephant bird of Madagascar almost 400 years ago is £5,000. The man in picture above is antiques dealer, John Shepherd. Mr Shepherd is a trained palaeontologist. He told the media that the Madagascan Elephant Bird was the only giant bird to exist with man and man caused its extinction. It was discovered during filming in Madagascar and the sale for this egg of more than 3ft will be held at the Chelsea Antique Fair in England in a week time.

In fact, decision for selling or not should be re-considered because the egg represents great social history. Perhaps putting it in museum for exhibition would be a better idea. Don't you think so?

Real Story! Reasons For Not Using Malaysia Local Bank

It's been so desperate and frustrating to decide on termination of malaysia local bank due to first-hand experience i have been through just a moment ago! I have 2 personal banks account in Malaysia, of course these 2 accounts respectively under different local banks in Malaysia.

Here is one of the scenario, i decided to call the customer service hotline while i was away from hometown at oversea with hopes to rely on them in solving problems because i can't log in to website for internet banking. The system just can't work it out due to invalid password and ID. When i finally contacted with the operator, she was very helpful to verify my information and to calm me down saying that she could help me in solving the issue and retrieving password and ID. Just a moment that you felt you have been rescued at the desperate time, she finally figured out that the reason for unable to log in is due to user who has not been using the internet banking for more than 6 months. Thus, the system will automatically deactivated your online status and to cancel your online privilege for deterring you to log in. She also claims that the reason is standardized and the only way to solve it is that user has to go to any local ATM machine to re-apply the internet ID and to create a new password. I mean, could you really take it? The reason that due to security system and further to control the amount of internet users to log into the website. Seriously, i think the system is really sucks! This really causes a lot of inconvenience to citizen like me that working in oversea. How can i go back to my hometown as i am far across the country to struggle at work and yet, the urgent issue they can't just improve their system in order to curb the problems. I believe i am not the only victim.

Another scenario, after experienced such a great disappointment, i decided to call to another local bank in Malaysia too. With hopes that they could do something different from the previous bank could not do in solving my problems. They give me stupid reasons that because the bank of my branch has not deducted the atm card maintenance fees from my account so i can't access the internet banking. They even suggested me to go back again to the branch to get the issue solved. What a "good" advice! I have told them i am already at oversea and i expected they could help us in coordinating within their branches to solve the client issue. However, the operator, with her broken english and ascent of Bahasa Malaysia, she kept telling me that according to the record, according to the system and according to so and so, i need to bla bla bla and requested me to understand the whole situation. I don't even know if she realized that i have been so angry when she can't get what i mean over the phone with her "english". The most ridiculous thing is you are getting even a lousier service when you expecting in something different. Finally, they notified me that in these two days i should be able to log into server as they have passed my matter to my branch.

Can you see the point? A donkey needs to be scolded and caned in order for them to keep moving and working! Maybe this is a bit too harsh for them but they should learn to satisfy the clients' need especially during economy downturn. I would have doubt if i will recommend any local bank to my friends or whoever it is.
