Germinid Meteor Shower At Peak This December 2007!!!

If you like to enjoy meteor shower, please never miss out the best annual Geminid Meteor Shower which will reach its peak this year due to its intensified grow all these years!!! The Geminids are predicted to reach peak activity on Dec. 14 at 16:45 GMT.

The Geminids get their name from the constellation of Gemini as it appears to emanate from a spot(as in red dot of pic) in the sky near the Gemini. Mars is likely to distract attention of prospective Geminid watchers this upcoming week as Mars is getting closer to the Earth later this month and shining with yellow-orange hue.

Strange Cloud Formation

Jeff M. from Le Sueur, Minnesota discovered this strange view in August 2007 and captured the image using camera phone. As described, that was happened during a very nice sunny day without any presence of airplane or helicopter. It just an weird incidence during sunny day.

I heard that this is called lee wave in meteorology term.
