Britney again!! It was the second time in the same month that Britney Spears, 26, was taken from her house by ambulance. The pop star was being taken to "get help."

Her first drama was happened on Jan. 3 where police were called to her Studio City home as she refused to return her two young sons to her ex-husband Kevin Federline. She was taken to hospital but released after a day and a half in Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.



This time, on Jan 30, Britney Spears was taken by ambulance again from her home early morning and escorted to the hospital by more than a dozen police officers on motorcycles, two cruisers and a pair of helicopters.

Old Man Collapsed & Mauled To Death By His Rottweiler

OMG!! The old man, James Rehill, 78, collapsed on the street and the horrible thing happened was that his pet, Rottweiler mauled him to death. The sorrow incidence was happened at Newham, East London during their "dog walk".

According to witnesses, the dog was trying to wake his master up after he fell down on the street, but eventually the animal became more agitated and biting him followed by mauling!

The ten-minute attack ended when a policeman fired a fire extinguisher at the dog. The dog was later destroyed by police marksmen.

Harbin, one of China's coldest cities, hosts a spectacular annual festival that for many is far more tempting than a warm beach holiday.

Organisers hope it will become an event on a global scale, and apparently it is having success.

On average, the festival records about 800,000 visitors every year, 90 per cent of them Chinese, making it hard to find a hotel room during the peak season in January.

Everest Hero Edmund Hillary Dies At 88

New Zealand has lost one of the great icon, Sir Edmund Hillary who died this morning at the age of 88. Sir Edmund was the first person to stand on Mt Everest, the world's highest peak, on June 2, 1953 - the day of Queen Elizabeth's coronation.

Sir Edmund's health had reportedly been in decline since April, when he suffered a fall while visiting Nepal. Hillary, who came to characterise the typical "rugged Kiwi individual", was born in Auckland on July 20, 1919.

World's First Outdoor Artificial Surfing Machine

From 2011, the world's first outdoor artificial surfing machine (£20m Venture Xtreme project) at Silvertown Quays will try to rival the Atlantic breakers of Devon and Cornwall using cleaned river water. The plan is to attract more urban surfers to take their boards in Tower Hamlets rather than make the long drive to West. Surfers could taste the "quintessential California surf lifestyle" in the unlikely surroundings of a disused dock in east London.
