Searching For Hiker's Body In Wilderness, Man Was Charged For Kidnapping

ABC news, A lady hiker, Meredith Emerson, 26, who disappeared from the northern Georgia woods on New Year's Day is believed to be dead. Gary Michael Hilton is charged by Union Country Superior Court as he was reportedly last seen with her with kidnapping.

Meredith Emerson was vanished while hiking with her dog in the Chattahoochee National Forest. Officials is now finding her body. The searching teams focus on a 5-square-mile area of rugged mountain territory about 90 miles north of Atlanta in the Chattahoochee National Forest, near where her car was discovered.
