Japanese Woman Found Murdered In Shizuoka

A 73-year-old woman, Terue Shiratori was found murdered in her home in Shizuoka. Police said the victim was lived alone and they found the body with her hands and feet bound by clothing and her head covered with a blanket. Her body was discovered when her neighbor visited her and had no one answered from the house. Police said there will be an autopsy to determine the cause and time of Shiratori death.

This is school pageant contest in Keio University. An 18-year-old law student Miyu Fujii (藤井みゆさん) is the winner of 2007 Miss Keio Contest. According to JapanSugoi, Miyu Fujii succeeds last year's winner, another law student Yoshie Takeuchi. China: Baidu's CFO Died In An Accident

The chief financial officer of top Chinese Internet search firm Baidu.com Inc, Shawn Wang has died in an accident. As stated by Baidu, the accident was happened in China during his Christmas vacation.

"We are all completely shocked and deeply saddened by this tragic news," Baidu Chairman and Chief Executive Robin Li said in the statement.

Wang joined Beijing-based Baidu in 2004 and helped it list on the Nasdaq stock exchange the following year. Read more

Baby Mauled And Killed By Rottweiler

What a harrowing news!! An 1-year-old baby boy, Archie-Lee Hirst was killed by rottweiler, a pet of his grandmother before it was shot to death by police marksman. The boy's mother, Rebecca Hirst,18 and father Damien Williamson, 20 were so sad.

The tragedy happened at grandmother's house when the house was left with Rebecca's sister and two girls aged 6 and 7 at the house in Wakefield, West Yorkshire.

The dog grabbed the baby in its jaw from the 7-year-old girl, dragging him from kitchen into the yard. The babysitter raised the alarm despite failing for the salvage by herself.

Leah Hickman, 21, a Marshall University student majoring in broadcast journalism reported missing after she failed to show up for her shift at a local Dress Barn. Her body was found in the crawl space of an apartment building. Her death is being investigated as homicide. Police said her phone is missing, but her keys, purse, car and luggage of her were found in apartment. How did she die? Police refused to say.

Former Pakistani Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto, 54 was buried next to her father, former Prime Minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto in her family's graveyard ever since the assassination during her political rally. Bhutto was dead in a shot in the neck and chest by a gunman followed by an explosion which had killed about 20 other people including the attacker. A Dead Man Found Beside A Circus Elephant

What a mysterious fatal case in Stardust Circus as the handler was dead from heart attack and suspected of being crushed by an elephant on the state's North Coast. The man, aged in his 60s, was found lying face down in an exercise enclosure with the 50-year-old circus elephant Arna nearby.

Nobody saw the incident. Was the elephant crushing on the man before his heart attack or the vice verse? The cause of death is yet to be determined!!!

Philippines's Clam Garden

Philippines is seeking an effort saving the declining population of taklobos, the world's largest clams due to over-harvesting. A "clam garden" was built about 250 feet off the shore of Pico de Loro Cove in Batangas to provide new habitat taklobos. The reseeding was accomplished using clams brought from Bolinao, Pangasinian. Such conservation project is a joint effort of the Hamilo Coast, SM Investments Corp. and the World Wide Fund for Nature.
