Their works are sold to dozens of magazines and newspapers so they are helping celebrities and public figures in general by increasing their visibility. They do earn large sums of money for a valuable picture as well.

After Diana and Dodi Fayed were pursued like dogs through the streets of Paris, their car crashes and while everyone is either dead or dying inside the Mercedes, the French paparazzi kept on taking pictures of Diana lying fatally wounded on the floor of the car.
Although several paparazzi were briefly taken into custody, but no one was ever convicted, and the officer was concluded that the cause of the accident was the drugged and drunken driver Henri Paul.
