Nicholas & Cecilia Separation Due To Photo Scandal

The Promise

Ming Pao, a Hong Kong newspaper has reported the recent "rumors" of Nicholas Tse (謝霆鋒) and Cecilia Cheung (張拍芝) separation as a result of the sex photos scandal issue. According to the news, father of Nicholas was refused to comment and reporters could only get through to voicemail as they telephoned to Deborah Li.

According to legal source, the married couple could settle their union and any divorce in Hong Kong even though they married in Philippines, September 2006 because they are both Hong Kong citizen. The couple can separate for a year before they can be filed as divorce without citing any particular reason.

Nicholas has been interviewed with Squat last year whe he said his marriage to Cecilia was "for life". However, his marriage with Cecilia has to come to an end after the surface of nude pictures and serial scandal with Edison Chen. Nicholas was very angry and upset when the time frame of pictures published as he believed those were taken before they got married. He was at first ignoring the authentication of photos and fully supported his wife until the time frame was published.
