Gillian Chung has really a hard time to make her comeback on the screen even after a year after the outbreak of sexual scandal! Just right after the audience saw her appearance on the screen during her interview regarding the Edison Chen's sex scandal on 5th March 09 with "Scoop" show, massive complaint calls have been made and even criticism from Hong Kong citizens. They commented image of Gillian Chung is totally ruined and that she will cause bad impact to youngsters and so instilling bad values into them. She seems to be acted as naive and as silly as a year ago during her appearance in the interview in Hong Kong. She revealed that her relationship with Edison for 4-5 years on and off since their love at the first sight. The reason for her to agree taking those pictures was simple because she was afraid to lose Edison if she refused to do that. When asked if she has worried about if the photos will be leaked one day, she claimed that she was worried but with the assurance from Edison Chen so she let him to take good care of those pictures.
While on the other hand, Cecilia Chung, another implicated actress in the scandal receieved fullest support from fans, family and friends during the interview to comment that Edison Chen is a liar and hypocrite. Nicholase Tze's sister has commented to fully support Cecilia no matter what she has done as she is now part of the family.
It is the same outbreak that involves different women and they attract different treatment from the society. Are we so badly affected by the small portion of extremist that against one of the Twins member because she was the popular idol among most of the youngsters while Cecilia Chung will never attract the youngsters because she was a naughty girl before her marriage?
What can i say? Personally, human is created by God and God will always give chance for them to learn from the mistakes. We make mistakes because we are human. No matter how the society has badly criticize Gillian Chung, please think of it that why Cecilia Chung received fullest support from every parties? Why? We should give both of them a chance to start all over again and to grow with their mistakes.
Life is very short! Why bother to disturb their lives by keep complaining of their digusting image or whatsoever?

Obviously doing what you know is very wrong and a big mistake even for "love" shows a lot of moral weakness. Even now she sounds PROUD of how much she was "in love" and how it motivated her. Or was she really just controlled by the lust she and her friend have now had exposed in such explicit detail to the world?
Were there any limits to what she would do for his love? Would or did she do drugs for love? Steal from her parents? Lie to her friends and deceive her fans? Once the door is open, where is the line drawn?
Sounds like a very weak shallow person with no conviction for core values and no regrets except at being caught.
The reason for doing what she did and knowing it to be a mistake is worse than the deed itself.
Too bad this all became public but there are many good strong people out there with values who better deserve the esteem of young people and the prestige and financial rewards from fame given by f fans of the Twins. Economic times are very hard for many many good hardworking and morally strong people. Time to give them a chance and send poor sad Gillian back to obscurity.
Gillian just has no ethical or moral claim to be a valued entertainer. She has forfeited her right to fame, fortune and celebrity worship after pretending to be such a good role model for young people.
This is especially bad now when so much financial hardship is everywhere and we find her cashing in on the fame won from her deceit of her young fans. She will profit from this scandal. That is sad and unfair to others more deserving.
I believe in forgiveness but she does not really want that. She wants the public to forget and to keep making her rich and famous -- on her terms. And if the public does that then they will get the kind of depravity so many of the rich and famous seem to represent.
Ok to forgive but not okay to reward and continue to make rich.
Forgiveness, yes -- if truly asking for it but the huge outrageous rewards of a comeback? No , that's just not fair. She is not a bad person --- but obviously pretty shallow and weak. She simply does not deserve the fame and fortune she earned as a Twin.
People are rightly disgusted at the way so many rich, famous and beautiful people handle all the blessing they have received from an ignorant and trusting public.
Products she endorses and promotes should not be purchased. Parents should not allow their children to worship and support her. She should get honest work in a shop or factory.
