Dolphin-Saving Hayden Panettiere Will Be Honored By Humane Society Of The United States

Hurray! Glad to know the Hero star, Hayden Panettiere will receive the Wyler Prize at The Human Society of the United States 2008 for her kind support and helping out in raising awareness of whale and dolphin slaughter in Japan. The Genesis Awards will take place at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on March 29th.

Apparently her great support for the humane activities has brought good example to the new generation. As a famous star, she has deployed her compassion and courage in an effective way to help out the society and the environment. She has hit the headlines and the japan has issued warrant to arrest her as well when she joined a team to disrupt a dolphin hunt in Taiji, Wakayama in 2007. Wow wow, she is a real young "hero"!! She is just 18 years old.

As you can see this video where Hayden and her group of sufers who have been involved in a violent confrontation with Japanese fisherman in order to disrupt the annual dolphin slaughter. A team was formed included the sufers from Australia and United States was trying to rescue the dolphins.
